At Thanksgiving time of 2010 our children urged me to build a handicapped accesible home to make life for my husband easier. I was not enthused by the idea. I would be 80 years old by the time I moved in. I had lived in the same house for 53 years and it was full of memories. I had never built a home and felt totally overwhelmed by the idea. Fortunately my son put me in touch with AJ Construction Company. They guided me every step of the way, making suggestions they thought would fit our needs, tweaking the plans, and always putting my mind at ease. We started to dig in June and we moved in on August 1st. I was always impressed by the workmen that I met. The project stayed on budget, which was important at my stage of life. My builder was Ethan. He was always available for a call or an on-site visit. As neither of my sons lived in town, I relied on him for advice and suggestions. He never let me down. We have been in our home for 9 months now and I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t a single complaint. I would recommend AJ Construction to my friends without hesitation. I am 100% satisfied with the looks, the comfort, and the usability of our home.
